B.o.B f. Bruno Mars - "Nothin' On You" Music Video

B.o.B is one of the new artists that are actually worth getting excited about. Nice lead single + music video to boot.

I still can't wait for the return of hardcore hiphop...

Beyonce f. Lady GaGa - "Video Phone" Music Video

Ever get the impression that considering her talent and vocal ability, Beyonce makes some very underwhelming music? Seriously...how relevant a record is "Video Phone" going to be 10 years from now?

Saying that, if I were back in my puberty days, I woulda beat my meat to this.

50 Cent f. Ne-Yo - "Baby By Me" Music Video

This song is so gay. Remember when he made fun of Ja Rule for being a soft niggra?

Redman f. Ready Roc - Coc Back Music Video

Always good to see Funk Doc resurface. After a pretty successful return with Method Man earlier in the year with Blackout 2, Redman returns with a new single from his upcoming Reggie Noble 9 1/2 album. This one features Ready Roc and is pretty dope.

BTW - why do people STILL think Redman is a member of Wu-Tang?

Jay-Z f. Alicia Keys - "Empire State Of Mind" Video

On the heels of the controversial Beanie Sigel "Not Your Average Cat," Jay-Z makes some news of his own with the anticipated video for his New York City anthem "Empire State Of Mind." The video is a good look, as is the case with most Hype Williams productions. I'm no New Yorker, so I can't says for sure that it really captures the atmosphere of the city. But as an outsider, it does cast NYC in a rather impressive light. I think we all have a little NY in our heart.

Raheem DeVaughn f. Ludacris - "Bulletproof" Video

I caught this video in the morning while watching MTV Jams. It was their "Jam Of The Week," which I found fascinating because I didn't know they did that anymore. A little nostalgia there. But damn, I really slept on Raheem DeVaughn. If I would have known he was making dope shit like this, I would have picked up his album a long time ago. And this video? Bananas. Very rare that you find yourself impressed with the creativity offered in music videos these days. So if you haven't, check it out. Shame you can't get this played on regular MTV or BET.
