Ever get the impression that considering her talent and vocal ability, Beyonce makes some very underwhelming music? Seriously...how relevant a record is "Video Phone" going to be 10 years from now?

New Michael Jackson Single - "This Is It"

The new Michael Jackson single, "This Is It," debuted today. According to reports, the song was originally written and recorded in 1980, copyrighted in 1984, and re-recorded while Michael was making Dangerous in 1991. This release is apparently the product of that Dangerous recording sessions. Whatever the case may be, the song is vintage Michael. Very light, upbeat type of feel to this song. After listening to this new song, one may wonder if Michael chose the name for the tour based on him feeling good about life and being out there again. Perhaps this song took him back to a place in time where he was able to enjoy himself a bit more. Whatever the case may be - the song is out there. Listen to it. Support it. Enjoy It.
