So the Healthcare Bill passed...you happy?

And by you - I mean the voter who marked Obama's name in November 2008, but have been unsatisfied with his job thus far. Change was promised. This is change. Is it the kind of change you're happy to see? Did this historical President pull off something historical enough for you to get behind him the same way you did in 2008? Are you patient enough to wait for the benefits of the hiked taxes to kick in? Are you aware that Obama's true impact mostly won't be felt until he's out of office? I have to say, as an American, yesterday was a beautiful day. Is the Bill perfect? Not at all. Does it benefit more Americans than it harms? It does. For that reason alone, I am happy with yesterday's result.

Politics are an evil game. The people got behind this President in hopes that he'd single-handedly return the country to its past glory. A rude awakening hit when they realized that he couldn't do it alone. Too many hands in the cookie jar. Which makes yesterday's outcome even more impressive. Health Care Reform has been sought by every Democratic President since Truman. On March 21, 2010, Barack Hussein Obama made it happen. Think about that.
