Jay-Z f. Alicia Keys - "Empire State Of Mind" Video

On the heels of the controversial Beanie Sigel "Not Your Average Cat," Jay-Z makes some news of his own with the anticipated video for his New York City anthem "Empire State Of Mind." The video is a good look, as is the case with most Hype Williams productions. I'm no New Yorker, so I can't says for sure that it really captures the atmosphere of the city. But as an outsider, it does cast NYC in a rather impressive light. I think we all have a little NY in our heart.

Since it had that baseball field echo, I couldn't really get into it. The music at least. I could get into how the cameraman was all up in Alicia Keys' ass when she got up from behind the piano. That's the "dog" that exists in every man. Dude was like "fuck this performance...fuck my job...DAT ASS!!!"
